Luxe by Hugh Rice was created to bring a fresh, modern approach to jewellery and watches - while staying true to the values that have defined the Rice family since 1971.
The story began with Hugh Rice, a young apprentice who opened his first workshop in Hull in 1971. From a small basement focused on watch repairs, Hugh built a reputation for craftsmanship, care, and trust. Joined by his brother Mike, the business grew into Hugh Rice Jewellers - one of the region’s most respected names in luxury watches and fine jewellery.
Out of this legacy, Luxe by Hugh Rice was born. In 2015 we opened our first Luxe boutique in Beverley, followed by a second in Hull in 2018.
